my delusional birthday wishlist

a girl can dream

Hi loves,

My birthday is next week. Woe is me. Instead of wallowing in the inevitability of age, I try focusing on the good things. And the good things are plenty. I have abundance in my life.

That being said, I’m but a girl and I love receiving gifts, so here’s my wishlist (with reasonable and totally unreasonable items) of things that have been on my mind lately.

• Cashmere socks: I am obsessed with the Arket ones I have, but a girl can’t wear the same socks every day

• On the topic of cashmere, it’s my favourite material now: Arket, Massimo Dutti, Everlane and COS have a great selection of knitwear

• Eym candle in Mellow (“smells like shaded woodland on a warm summer's day”) and Laze (“smells like a transformative spiritual retreat in the 60s”): I haven’t tried these yet but I love their branding and the fact that the candles are 100% natural

• Books: Off the top of my head I want to read Liars by Sarah Manguso and So Thirsty by Rachel Harrison. A book voucher is also great, because I will never not use it

• Journal prompt cards by Deepak Chopra: to deepen my daily meditation routine

• A Reformation shopping spree: It’s a hefty-priced brand but everything I have so far by them is gorgeous. I am dying to get my hands on the Jadey sweater and this bag (it’s giving The Row Margaux and I am obsessed)

• Tickets to live music events, like an evening of film music or Disney in concert

• Heaven Mayhem Julia necklace in red/black: Saw this on

  ’ Instagram and immediately fell in love

• A book stamp to personalise my collection: this one in black is really cute

• New (sustainable) pyjamas: I have one pair and they’re shorts set so I need some long pants for the winter. I love this silk pyjama set and this cotton one, for example

• A magazine rack: something vintage-y like the Zack chrome one

• Moleskine large notebooks (13 x 21 cm - lined or dotted): I want to keep my journaling alive and well

• Hobonichi Techo 2025 Cousin: this agenda looks like it will be my new productivity friend

• Incense goodies: I really want to try out the Bodha incense in Ground and the Aesop Murasaki. And I’d love a tiny incense stand that I can place in my palo santo bowl

• Some good speakers that I can connect to my record player. I’m not an expert on the topic so if you have any recommendations, let me know!

• Wall art: I might just treat myself for my birthday with this gorgeous wall fan. I’ve been on the hunt for one for a while

• Whatever will help me plan another trip to London: I just need to go back

• Perfect crisp days with orange-hued leafery: send Mother Nature a note for me please

• Cosy candlelit dinners <3
